The 3 Steps

Did you know there’s a difference between hydrating and moisturizing?

To Hydrate you need a [humectant] to give water to you skin. So, a face oil can never be “hydrating”.

To Moisturize is to introduce an [occlusive] step to your skincare routine — something that locks moisture: a face oil, facial balm or lotion.

When you are done cleansing your face with Balancing Oil Cleanser, leave your skin damp (skip the towel altogether), tone with Purifying Mist and yet again, do not wait for your face to dry to introduce warmed up between your palms Purifying Oil. There, you’ve just created a lotion that is both hydrating AND moisturizing and without the use of emulsifiers, pH stabilizers, thickeners.
